Business Visa when filming in Brazil.


You do not need a business visa to come to Brazil for filming if you are from most countries in EU or Mercosul for trips of up to 90 days a year.
Americans, Australians and Canadians always need visas to come to Brazil.
If you are NOT citizen of one of the countries listed bellow you will need a visa:

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Phillippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Vatican.

You DO NOT need a business visa for trips of up to 90 days a year if you are a citizen of one of the countries listed above.

In any case you will need to hire a Brazilian Video Production Company registered at ANCINE to get the filming permission and to do the paper work needed for the customs clearance.
