Filming Documentary in Brazil

Mark Albini, director and producer at Bahhama Jeff Media, from New York (US), has partened with FixerBrazil.com to shoot his documentary for SPG lawyers company, a film about the victims of Mariana Dam that colapsed in 2015, in Minas Gerais State.

Interview with Monica, whose house was buried by the mud.

This project was a documentary road-movie style: starting in Bento Rodrigues (MG), the city destroyed by the mud of the dam, along Rio Doce, which had it’s waters contaminated by the toxic waste, all the way to Regência (ES), where the river meets the sea.

Mariana Dam colapse is the biggest environmental crime that ever happened in Brazil, which also killed 19 people, has contaminated more than 800km of Rio Doce, affecting the life of thousands of people.

Mark decided to shoot with the reliable Sony FS7, having theA7Sii as B Camera, plus the great DJI Mavic 2 Pro, and a Bolex for some 16mm film to give a different look at the films.
