Filming in the Amazon

When you think of Brazil, the Amazon Forest has to come to mind. No other place in the world is like the amazon rain forest.

It is the biggest forest in the word, cut by the biggest rivers in the word, housing a huge diversity of wild life and culture.

But filming in the Amazon is not an easy task. Fixer Brazil has a vast experience filming in the Amazon, from finding the right places to film and getting the permits, we will help you get things done.

Filming Jangadeiros in Ceará for French Television Arte

Fixer Brazil was hired by the French Production Company Découpages to organize the production of the brazilian episode of the TV Series “Peoples of the Sea“. We went to “Prainha do Canto Verde” to film the “Jangadeiros” a type of traditional fisherman that fish with the Jangada raft.

We did a short making of video about the shoot and the wonderful trip.

Fixer Brazil did the research, preproduction, location scout/recce, customs clearance, visas, permits, and worked as a fixer during the week of shooting.

“It’s been a pleasure preparing this movie with FixerBrazil. Tomaz did a very great job. We will definitely recommend you to anyone who wishes to make a movie in Brazil.”  Diane Micouleau / Producer – Decoupages.fr
