Filming the Brazilian Canyons – South Brazil

Aldinan, the truck driver, enjoys the view at Serra do Rio do Rastro.

Serra do Rio do Rastro is the most beautiful road of Brazil and one of the most scenics of the world. And that was the main reason Spoon, contente agency from Sweden, chose the location for Volvo Truck’s web-serie episode filmed in Brazil.

Sujay, Axel and Matthey preparing for the first shooting day at Serra do Rio do Rastro.

A multi cultural crew of Swedes, an Australian and some Brazilians joined to produce the film for 4 days in Serras Catarinenses – a complex of mountains and canyons located in the south of the country.

Sujay, Axel, Nick and Mathew.

There were some amazing and challenging drone shots at the canyons and on a bridge over Pelotas River.

Felipe, Drone pilot, getting the job done!
Great rig for some POV shots on the truck.

Axel, producer from Spoon, did an amazing job on his reserach for locations in Brazil. It was a great pleasure to help him and the crew to get all the permits and logistics organized for a smooth shooting.

Amazing sunset on last day of shooting.

The final result is a beautiful episode about Driver’s World with Aldinan, the Brazilian truck driver – main character of the film.
